I was given Corsodyl today by my Dentist to help in the healing of minor gum surgery

Q. Dear Dr Moore — I was given Corsodyl today by my Dentist to help in the healing of minor gum surgery. He told me to mix my Corsodyl with water (okay so far); and to rinse with the mixture prior to brushing. I am a bit confused as the information I am finding on-line indicates that I should brush first and then rinse. Which protocol is correct? …and does it really matter? Thanks in advance for your help. Kate

A. Hi Kate

It really won’t make much difference so I would just follow your dentists instructions.

Hope it all heals well  thanks Andrew
