I recently had one of my silver fillings repaced with a porclein onlay

Q. I recently had one of my silver fillings repaced with a porclein onlay which took 2 weeks to complete and once it was completed i had pain in that tooth and could not bite down however 2 days after i had the onlay fitted i had an appointment at another dentist which carries out cerec fillings which are conpleted in one day. however when the new dentist looked at the onlay he could see straight away that there was a gap and he couldnt beleive that my original dentist did not notice this. I now need to get this onlay redone so i have contacted my original dentist and have an appointment next week but i am nervous about receiving treatment from him and was wondering if i am etitled to a refund since i am not confident that he can carry out the treatment correctly and i dont want to have to wait another 2 weeks since i go back to university net week! thank you

A. You need to take this up with your original dentist who fitted the work.
