Most crowns placed on the front teeth are made of porcelain these days. If you particlarly want a gold/ metal crown, this can also be done. Costs for a crown vary in the country from £300 to over £1000 per tooth.

Hi my husband is nearly 50 and still very attactive but his teeth are bloody awful. He has a gold tooth at the front top of his teeth and they are very stained due to years of smoking and drinking Jack Daniels and coke. Our 13 yr old daughter has perfect teeth and has a fantastic smile but it is such a shame as Matthew never smiles properly in any photos with her as he is to embarrased to do so. how much roughly would it cost to have the crown changed and his teeth whitened. I must also add that he doesnt smoke anymore and rarely drinks.
