I’m ashamed of my bad teeth, please help!
Q. Hi, I am terrified to go to the dentist and am ashamed to say it’s about 40 years since I’ve visited one. I had a lot of my top teeth removed and most of the others have rotted away.I am desperate to get “a smile” but would be ashamed to even open my mouth to any dentist. I don’t know what to do.,
A. Hi don’t let embarrasment stop you getting this sorted out. As a dentist we are used to seeing mouths in all conditions without judging the patient. Most often it is viewd as good opportunity to make something good from basic start.
