I am confused. I have a wobbly tooth at the front, and have got to have a bridge as have receding gums and therefore an implant is not practical. I have had all the pre dental work done and on monday, I go for my temporary bridge to be fitted at a cost of £468, 3 months after that I have to go and have a permanent bridge fitted cost of £1300 but no where on the internet am i reading about anyone having to have two bridges done, please advise thanks

Yes this is a common technique when a tooth needs removing as the gum will shrink back. The permanent bridge will then be made to the new gum position for a much better fit.
