I have had problems with my implants, which my dentist says is down to my bite pressure. He has reduced the size of the implant teeth. Will this help?

Q. i had 2 implants fitted either side of my upper jaw in dec 2009. In May 2010 I had 2 double teeth fitted to each implant.Over the last month the right side implant feels loose and is uncomfortable and painful if I bite on hard substances. the opposite lower tooth has had an absess and recently root canal treatment (unsuccessful). My dentist thinks I am putting too much pressure when biting and has reduced the size of the implanted teeth significantly. Will my implant become more stable with time and if it does not what can I do?,
A. It might require the teeth removing and the implants checking as it sounds like you might have a screw loose in one of the implants
