Q. I have had 14 veneers fitted and need another 5 doing. I had them fitted 7 months ago, and have only had 1 week without pain during this time. My dentist didn’t provide me with temporary teeth during the preps, and snapped the front tooth when he removed the enamel, resulting in weeks of antibiotics and pain killers, and eventual root canal on a previously healthy tooth. I am still on the maximum dose of didrofenic and paracetemol extra, and my gums are starting to swell and ulcerate. He wants to see me every week to inject antibacterial treatment every week at a cost of £128.00, until they settle down. What shall I do? Help me please.
