i have been thinking very hard about getting veneers iam 17

Q. Hello doctor, I have been thinking very hard recently about getting veneers. I am quite young, nearly 17 years old, my teeth aren’t that bad although I have about 7 fillings and about 2 chipped teeth and the shape of my teeth, everything about them really brings my confidents done. I was just wondering, as I am quite young, could I still get veneers? How much do they cost? Would anyone help me pay for them, the NHS? Are there any disadvantages of getting veneers? Please get back to me as soon as you can. Thank you for your time.

A. I would not recommend a 17 year having veneers as the nerves in your teeth are very susceptable to damage at this young age.
