I have been advised that I need a root filling for one of my veneered tooth and I am experiencing pain. Is this normal?

Q. I have had two veneeres fitted to my two front teeth but have been having a lot of pain above one of them. I visited my dentist and he advised me i need a root filling. Should this have happened. Also I am getting pain in the side of my head since having them done. Is this the norm. Thanks,
A. Hi, I would advised you go back to you dentsit and let him know of these pains, and to get the root filling done sooner rather then later.
