Q. I have always had very weak teeth i eat well and it is not due to my diet. i am due to go to my dentist after having my son but while pregnant i was advised i needed four fillings, since one of my previous fillings has fallen out and one of my molars has a decay next to my gum. a alredy have two missing teeth at the lower back. would you suggest bridges and would it be expensive for possibly 3 replacement teeth?
A. Your gums need to be strong otherwise any restoration will fail. This needs to be treated first. You amy be able to have bridges, this will depend on the condition of the retaining teeth. Bridges are not cheap but the other options are a denture or implants. Implants are very expensive but the best option for you and a denture is cheaper but obviously it is removable.
