I have abcess on tooth, in the middle of bladder cancer

Q. I have abcess on tooth, in the middle of bladder cancer, I am taking codeine phosphate and baby aspirin.I am thinking of having tooth removed, am on antibiotics at present.Have been offered antibiotics after 4 months as other option as it will come back.I am worried about having tooth removed because of my state of health. Please advise.

A. I think you need to talk to your surgeon before embarking on any treatment, usually taking the tooth out is the best thing to do if your general health permits.
