I have a small chip on my tooth and it is very sensitive
Q. Hiya, I have just noticed a small chip in the front of my left tooth. It is only really small but it is a little sensitive. I have heard about Bonding and would really appreciate it if you could tell me the positives and negatives to bonding- also will my dentist do this for me? or will i have to go to a cosmetic dentistry?- i would really appreciate your help. A. Bonding refers to many dental procedures that involve tooth coloured resins as fillings or glues for ceramic restorations ( veneers, crowns, inlays ) Most dentists do some bonding. Cosmetic dentists will generally use higher grade materials with more attention to the final appearance.. A small chip will often be easily and aesthetically repaired by a tooth coloured filling without drilling your own tooth.
