I have a crown that is almost 20yrs old, while eating my crown broke off

Q. I have a crown that is almost 20yrs old, while eating dinner the front part of the crown broke off. I am not in pain but wonder what it is going to cost me to have a replacement crown made. My tooth under didn’t break. Please tell me it will not cost as much as an original crown did.

A. Unfortunately it is likely that you will need a new crown.  As with everything in life prices go up and not down.  The crown is likely to cost you more than the original crown did.

My crown n the tooth just break off and seems the tooth was decay that’s why it’s broke off… I been told I am in big trouble because the tooth dose not sensitive toward hot or cold after exposed in the air n food…. I am currently 5 month pregnant, so no x-ray can be done and my doctor can’t see me until next week… What should I do?
