I have a bridge, on upper part of mouth, that covers 4 teeth

Q. Hi! I have a bridge, on upper part of mouth, that covers 4 teeth (two missing teeth in the middle of the bridge). I am feeling slight movement on the back part (4th tooth from back moler)of the bridge. What do you suggest I do? the bridge starts with my fang tooth on the right side of my mouth which is intact completely. the only movement is the cemented part towards the molers. is there a way a dentist can remove it and re-cement. The bridge is about 8 years old. Thank you for your time.

A. Hi

Firstly a clinical examination and radiographic examination would have to be carried out to give a diagnosis.

If the bridge can be removed without causing damage to the teeth then the bridge could be recemented.

If the teeth are fractured then the options would be
1. new bridge if possible
2. implants
3. or  removable denture

I hope this helps

Regards

Kal
