I had a root canal done three years ago, and I now think I need a crown. Is it too late?

Q. Hi I had root canal done about three yrs ago. The dentist who did it is no longer there and i did not get a crown fitted. Is it too late to fit the crown on the back tooth this was done to? I have noticed the tooth has a blue tint now.,
A. The tooth would need to assessed but provided the roots have been sealed you should be able to have a crown.
