I had 3 teeth extracted today and i was prescribed vibramycin do i really need this antibiotic

Q. I had 3 teeth extracted today. I was prescribed Vibramycin. Do I really need this antibiotic? I had no pain before so I don’t think I had an infection. Is it dangerous for me to skip the meds?
