I can’t have an implant because of the tooth stuck in my gum, what can be done about this?

Q. I have a tooth stuck inside my top gum above a gap, tooth recently pulled out, the plan was to have an impnat to replace the one pulled out, but now the dentist is saying he cant put in an implant as this tooth is in the way and he cant pull it out as it is is too far up in my mouth and would need a plate over it, again not allowing an implant. What can be done?,
A. Not really sure unless I see an x-ray but if the tooth is removed by a specialist it will probably require bone grafting before an implant can be placed. Alternatively you may need to consider a bridge
