I am looking for a good reputable dentist and hygienist

Q. Despite being a regular visitor to the dentist, over the years I have endured considerable dental treatments, some of which have been as a result of poor dentistry. As I approach my late 40\’s I am considering cosmetic dentistry to improve the appearance of my teeth but feel I first of all need a good regular dentist that I can trust and who will help me take good care of my teeth. My children have fortunately not suffered in the same way as I have and I am keen to ensure they are also receiving good quality dental advice. Other than searching through dentists registered with the BDA, is there any way I can find a very good reputable dentist and hygenist who will be able to provide appropriate dental advice/treatment to myself and my family. I am prepared to travel outside my immediate area if this is necessary.

A. The best way to find a good local dentist is word of mouth and recommendations from your friends or colleagues in your area.

If you can get some names then take a look at their website – a god progressive dental practice will usually be reflected in this way and you will be able to see the range of treatments and services they offer.

Alternatively you can do a google search for your area and then view the relevant practices.

Kind regards
