Q. Hello dr. butt. i am going to be having all 4 wisdom teeth removed and am absolutely terrified. my dentist isnt the easiest person to speak to and a have afew concerns. they told me there is a risk of damaging a nerve that is in my lips and gum and in some cases the damage is permanent. what are the odds of that happening and what what it mean if that happened? i suppose i am after some more information on the procedure but now i am on the waiting list at my local hospital i do not have anyone to contact about it. i hope you can help, thanks in advance!
