I am experiencing sensitivity with my temporary veneers. Is this normal and when will it stop?

Q. Dear Dr Andrew, I hope this message finds you well. Im writing with regard to some cosmetic dentistry I have recently had done in the U.A.E – I wonder if you can help. I had temporary veneers fitted on —- and Im expecting my permanent ones to be fitted on 26th oct 10. For the past 8 days I have been experiencing severe sensitivity and discomfort, despite wether Im eating/drink or not, and was wondering if this is normal and to be expected, also in your expert opinion what is the normal expected healing time when having such work done. I very much look forward to hearing from you. Many thanks in advance. Best wishes. ,
A. Sensitivity is normal for temporary veneers and should go once the permanent veneers are fitted
