Q. I am a 30 year old wife and mother. My husband lost his insurance benifits two years ago when he was layed off. I have recently discovered that I have a genetic bone disease in my mouth and have to have all of my teeth pulled and replaced with dentures. I lost my job because of the tooth decay and I cant pay for dentures on what my husband currently makes. I was wondering if you had any suggestions to help me out!!! I hate that by loosing my job my cofedence is shot…Please help I dont want to look like this forever!!!,
A. If you are in the UK and have severe financial hardship it is likely that you can get exemption from NHS costs. You will need to complete a form AG 1 avaialble from the post office or some dentists. Also NHS direct may be able to give advice.
