How much would it cost to fix my pretruding front teeth

Q. Hi, I am currently 15 and my front teeth pretrude by a serveral mm along with there being gaps between them. I am not allowed to get treatment on the NHS and I was looking into having treatment when I am an adult. Is there a site you can refer me to that will inform me of a rough amount of money I would need to spend? To give you an idea, the scale at which they put me on for their comparison of whether they should treat me or not was on the boarder line. Kindest Regards

A. Orthodontic work on your upper and lower teeth ranges from £3500.00. Although this depends on the type of braces you have. If you opt for braces that are not visible, the price will increase.
Perhaps you might want to think about getting a second opinion on whether you can have your orthodontic work on the NHS. Ask your dentist to refer you to another NHS orthodontist and get his opinion. As soon as you turn 16 you will not qualify to have braces on the NHS so  it is worth a try while you are still whithin the age range.
If this is not possible then when you are ready, perhaps go for a few consultations with private orthodontists to see who will give you the best value for money.
