How much would it cost for you to replace a bridge for four teeth?

Q.
How much would it cost approximately to have a bridge fitted by you for 4 missing teeth at the front. At present I have a maryland bridge but it has come loose several times so I would like a bridge that is fixed to the two teeth at either side. I had a consultation for implants but I do not have enough bone, and I do not want to have a bone graft.

Hi

The cost would depend on a number of things:

The difficulty of the situation to fix

The quality of the craftsmanship from the dental laboratory making the brige that you wish for

Which exact type of brige you choose (e.g. procelian fused to metal, all porcelain, zirconia reinforced ceramic….)

How much time it would take to carry out which often depends on how easy or difficlut an individual is to treat

Whether we need to make a ‘prototype’ mock- up (called a diagnostic wax-up) of the new teeth shape beforehand

What type of anaesthesia we need…e.g. whether or not sedation is required

The nature of your bite

The condition of the teeth being used to support the bridge …

….amongst other things that we’d need to assess carefully beforehand

We could ascertain all of this only following an examination and consultation in person but to give you a ‘rough’ idea, for very high quality work, it would be somewhere between £3000 and £5000

Hope that helps

Hello, thank you for your prompt reply, it was helpful. I am not sure I could afford the most expensiive option, but I have made an appointment with you to assess what needs to be done and get an accurate quote.

Kind regards

What is the cost of re cementing a 4 tooth bridge?

Erin Says :

This depends on the size of the bridge. You should think of private fees from £500 per tooth. So a 3 unit bridge would cost £1500.
