How long for braces to close 5 mm gap?

Q. hi,i plan on getting braces soon and i wanted to know how long it will take to close a 5mm gap in my upper teeth with lingual braces and also how long with regular braces…,
A. This is not possible to assess unless your are properly assessed as their are many variables
