How long does it take for the alveoplasty hole to heal up?
Q. I had a Alveplsty done on my lower jaw following 8 extractions. The hole is still open and I would like to know how long it takes to close. I am in constant pain, The site is red and angry I am still on anitbotics.,
A. Alveoplasty can be a complex surgical procedure and you are best taking advice from the surgical team that carried out the procedure. The fact you are taking antibiotics suggests an infection that adds to the complication. Hope this is of some help Rob
