Dear Enquirer,
Braces do not hurt when they are placed. They are glued on to your front teeth and a removable wire is placed on to the fixed brackets which needs to be changed every month or so.

Doe’s it hurt when you get braces??
It can be sore for the first 3 ro 4 days but normal pain killers for headaches will take the discomfort away
