How can I resolve the problem of my daughter’s tooth that is going to die?

Q. Hi, My 7 year old daughter had an accident at school (PE class) today and as a result has knocked out and broken one of her front teeth (upper jaw). We’ve taken her to a dentist who has performed a temporary procedure by glueing the tooth back together again and putting it back in place. His opinion is that the tooth will die over the next week. What is the best way of resolving this problem? Please also give me an idea of costs involved. Thank you very much,
,
A. If the tooth does die and it is a permanent tooth then a root canal treatment and filling will be required. this will cost (at my clinic) in the region of £300-400
