How can I make my veneers look more natural?

Q.
Hello there,

I had Veneers fitted to 8 of my top teeth 18 months ago. I’m disappointed with them as they don’t look as natural as I would have liked. I have a very narrow palette and wanted to broaden the look of it as much as I could. My brief was that I didn’t want my teeth to look too perfect and wanted to look as natural as possible.I feel they are a little big for my face and slightly too white. A women at the hairdressers said to me ” I love your teeth. Where did you have them done” Not really a reaction I was looking for. Is there anything to be done to correct this?
Kind Regards

A.
If you come for a consultation then I could help answer your question – without seeing you and your situation it’s impossible to speculate on what we can achieve. Veneers can be made totally bespoke (within the confines of your teeth roots, face and jaws of course) and you should be able to have an accurate preview made with the temporaries. This allows you to ‘test drive’ the veneers before the permanent ones are made by the ceramic lab technician. Once you are happy with the prototypes these are copied as closely as possible for the final result.

This way you know exactly what to expect. They can of course be made to look very natural, yet beautiful – This usually requires more skill and artistry, from both the dentist and the master ceramist and is much harder to do than make them look very symmetrical and ‘fake’.

Please come for a consultation with us in Harley Street or seek out a very experienced cosmetic dentist in your area for an examination and consultation

I hope this helps ?

Kind regards

Mark
