Hi, i’m looking for a bit of advice on veneers

Q. Hi, i’m looking for a bit of advice on veneers. I’m an excempt dental patient and today went for a check up and the dentist said to me about gettting veneers done on the front 2 of my teeth as they are slightly discolured in comparison to my other teeth. I am assuming my dentise knows that i am excempt from paying, however i would love to have these done as i have heard and seen so many good reports. My problem is that i have been reading on internet that they are not covered by nhs and i’m now worried that i will have a bill that i simply can’t afford. Can the work on my teeth be carried out free of charge? Thanx

A. Discuss this with your dentist before you have any treatment done and ensure your dentist is experienced enough to provide this treatment.  Remember veneers generally require your natural teeth to be ground down so you must be aware of the lifespan of these new restorations.
