Has my retainer been fitted correctly?
Q.
hello, Im 36 and have just had an Essix retainer fitted after wearing braces top and bottom for a year, the top Essix fit well and snug, but the bottom one has a gap inside on the front 4 teeth and doesn’t seem as snug, the dentist said, its coz they have moved a little bit since yesterday when the mold was taken, is this ok or is it poorly fitted. Please advise.
Cheers

It’s really hard to say. It could be that your dentist is right and your teeth has moved slightly or that the impressions wasn’t really good in the first place. The only option you have is to replace it, but there might be a cost involve in that.
