Has my cancer treatment caused me to lose my teeth?

Q.
Hi Dr Moore. I was diagnosed with a brain tumor in October 2000. Its now 10 years later, and i am totally cancer free, with no symptoms, or any defects, except for my teeth, which is literally falling apart in my mouth. Is this the effect of the radiation and chemotherapy I had, 10 years ago. The problem started about 6 years ago. What can i do, i do brush my teeth and try to keep a good mouth hygiene.

I guess you’ll need to see a dentist as soon as possible to get treatment an oral hygiene advice as the chemo and radiotherapy has probably had an adverse effect on your teeth gums and salivary glands
