It sounds like you need to have your lower jaw brought forward to get the desired appearance.  This is a very common treatment through surgery where your lower jaw is brought forward.  Once your jaw is in the correct place the teeth can be straightened.  You need to talk to your dentist and ask for a referral to an orthodontist.  Minor jaw corrections can be treated with orthodontic appliances although these are generally more effective when you are growing (between 13-17 years old).
