Do you think paying extra for white brace is worth for this short period

Q. I am getting fixed braces privately. I had fixed braces when I was young but my front tooth is now protruding and I would like this to be fixed. I have been told the braces will be on for 8 months but that it will be an extra £250 for white instead of metal braces. Do you think this it would be wothwhile paying this extra amount for the short period that they will be on?

A. This is entirely up to yourself. My nurse currently has the 6 month smiles brace on. This is a clear fixed brace and from a short distance away, you cannot teteh she has a brace on. Aesthetically, the clear/white braces will always be better- and I think that for just an extra £250, this is a reasonably good price to pay to still look good on photos etc 🙂 Good luck
