Do you think I will need any teeth removed to strightened my teeth

Q. My teeth quite over crowded and I would like them strightened out. I am willing to wear braces to get the results. Do you think I will need any teeth removed to achive this? If so could have the extraction done under sedation?(nervous about the dentist)

A. Hi there, without seeing you in person, it is difficult for me to comment on orthosontics.
It is possible, yes that you may need to have extraction(s) to achieve the result you are wanting. There are some systems that do not need to have teeth out. Extra space is created by the use of inter-proximal stripping of the enamel- in very small amounts as not to cause any damage.
If you do however need teeth out, sedation is a good decision if you are nervous. I can recommend you to some orthodontics if you wish- or would be more than happy to see you for a consultaion at kissdental- and the different braces options can be talked through.
