Do you need an orthodontist to alter and reshape the cement or can a dentist do it?
Q. Andrew, I have a bonded retainer on my upper teeth from orthodontic treatment but the cement glued on the wire feels uneven. Do you need an orthodontist to alter and reshape the cement or can a dentist do it? The last dentist I asked to alter it damaged it so I am thinking of favouring orthodontists but just interested in what you think. Thanks,
