Hello I have heard of nusmile Instant Veneers and I have been told that they can be fitted without drilling my teeth at all and that they can be fitted on the same day.

Are instant veneers as good as regular veneers and also how does the price of instant veneers compare to regular veneers. Also do you know of any dentists in London that offer instant veneers?

Hello I am a 20 year old student from Wolverhampton and I am really unhappy with the colour of my teeth. I have tried many whitening products which have failed to make any difference and I have also had my teeth whitened once before however this was not done at a proper dentist. But i am interested in a more permanent solution such as veneers however i realise this is an expensive option. I was wondering if you could give me any information as to how much it would cost (for each veneer as i would consider not treating every single tooth) and which are the cheaper options if any..? Hello, Iam one of those people who never smile on a photo, due to not liking my teeth. The right side of my front tooth overlaps with the side one & kind of hides it, so this doesnt look very nice. Also I have my left front tooth that is slightly discoloured due to some sort of filling. What would you suggest is the best way to sort my teeth. Iam not too keen on Veneers as I have been warned by a dentist that you chip the tooth away & it wouldnt look very good if it falls off. I need a cheap solution to this. Thanks in advance

It sounds as if you may be a good candidate for veneers which are an excellent cosmetic solution and on the contrary, if done will will last for up to 15 years. If you are looking for a less expensive option cosmetic bonding may be suitable. Regards

Hello, I am 21 and looking to get cosmetic treatment to sort out my top teeth. When I was a teenager my adult canine teeth came down while my baby canine teeth were still there causing me to have 4 canine teeth at once I have since had the baby canine teeth removed however it has left my lateral incisor and canine’s on both sides very raised. Also while the rest of my front teeth seem fine they start to slant in from the back to the front towards my tongue. What kind of cosmetic treatment would you recommend? Thanks.

veneers and or alignment would be worth investigating. Veners like lumineers can be minimal and not require any drilling but some cases are best with tooth reduction. Alignment can be very discrete and not like the old braces of the past , invisalign is an example. If you would like help assessing your individual case some more.

It might be that the dentist isn’t comfortable with this type of cosmetic treatment. See if you can find a local cosmetic dentist or one recommended by a friend as it sounds like veneers of some sort would be a good option for you.

Hi, I am desperate to get my teeth whitened. The problem is that i got my 2 front teeth smashed when i was young and they are 2 caps as there was hardly any tooth left. I want to do something but they 2 wont get any brighter. I have been quoted for composite & porcelain veneers which are both pretty reasonables prices in my opinion (300 for 2 x front composite or 600 for 2 porcelain) my only worry is my two top front teeth are slightly overlapped by the 2 teeth on the outside. Would the dentist be able to get a good result using composite due to the slight overlap? Or would you recommend having a brace first to straighten them out the bonding to level them as they are also slightly uneven

Veneers, whether composite or porcelain, always work better on straight teeth so maybe some alignment first would be better especially if you’re only planning on doing 2 veneers.

Hi there, i am looking to get my front teeth venneered and also all of my teeth whitened, however i have ‘mottled’ type teeth so i was wondering if it would be difficult for my teeth to actually be whitened? Or if it would make the mottledness look more prominent? Do you know of anyone with the same condition that has had their teeth whitened or do you have any pictures to show wht it would look like? many thanks

It can increase the mottling but in my experience if you keep whitening the mottling eventually disappears. I would recommend home kits with trays made by your dentist. You’ll need to wear them for around 14-21 nights to get the best results.

hi there i really want some vaneers done its getting me so depressed! i could totally afford to pay monthly for them the only thing is family and ex boyfriend have left me in debt with bills that arnt mine but are in my name which i refuse to pay as its not place to. This is a tough question. If your teeth are short then possibly you could have them lengthened and therefor show more of the teeth when you smile.

I have a broken front tooth. I read somewhere that a cosmetic bonding with a material that the dentist shapes in to a tooth (I understand it’s called a filling for some reason) can be done on the nhs. Is that right because some dentists have said that it isn’t done on the nhs while one or two said that it is done on the nhs under a filling. I had it done once before about 3 years ago and it lasted just over a year before breaking.

I’m registered with a nhs dentist,I work full time & pay for my treatment .I’m really unhappy with my bottom teeth.They’re not chipped but the two front teeth are very small & I have a large gap on one side of them.Could my nhs dentist do any cosmetic work for me.I would also like to have white fillings in my back teeth instead of ugly silver ones.I’m obviously willing to pay for the cosmetic work.

I guess if he’s happy to do this for it will be ok but ask him first as they may not be able to cover cosmetic treatments on the NHS

Hello Doctor, I would like to get veneers in the near future for my front teeth as i am not happy with their size or colour. I have very slight buck teeth and have been advised that it would be best to get braces before veneers to correct my two front teeth. Invisalign could work or you could have a lingual brace on the inside of your teeth before veneers I carry out these procedures a lot prior to veneers
