Hello. I am 40 years old and for as long as I can remember my teeth have been in a very poor condition. They are stained, crooked and badly worn. I would love to have them all taken out and be fitted with dentures or something similar. I am not registered with a dentist and not entitled to NHS. I am on a low income and am desperate to have this problem fixed. Could you please tell me how i can get this done and an approximate cost. Its ruining my life now. Thank you in advance

Hi i am 16 years old and in full time education. I live in wembley, london. Ive always wanted braces to fix the gaps in my teeth. i have about a 1mm gap between the front six teeth at the top, the bottom is perfectly fine, so i would need them fitted only orn the top. I am wondering how much lingual braces would cost ? It would be much appreicated if you could get back to me with some prices and maybe some dentists in my local area which offer this service. I had fixed braces when i was about 11 for seven months, but then eventually discontinued to use the retainer i was given as i got older. I am now 18, and my teeth have moved around so much from when the brace was first taken off, meaning that the retainer obviously no longer fits my mouth. Would you recommend getting fixed braces put back on? If so, would i still be able to get them free on the Nhs, baring in mind that i am still in full time education? Any other recommendations would also be much appreciated.

Advice over matching of new and old crowns

I recently broke a piece off a back tooth on which I had root canal treatment a few years ago. Both of my front teeth are crowned and I was also experiencing a little “vibration” in one of them. On visiting my dentist yesterday and after taking x-rays, she says the root canal treatment I had years ago was “incomplete” (it was done at the same practice but by my previous dentist who has now left) but there is no decay so recommends just a crown as there is not enough tooth left to fill. As for the front crown I have an infection for which she is recommending root canal treatment and a new crown. She has quoted me £450 per crown plus £360 for the root canal treatment Initally I thought this sounded very expensive but after a bit of research have accepted these are probably the right prices – however my main concern is that the new crown will match the one next to it? I should be grateful for your opinion on the treatment recommended and the price – and is there a chance they won`t match? Thanks you for your time.

Hi there. I have had the biggest fear of the dentist since I can remember and I am now 20 and still haven’t gotten over this fear. I’ve been to a number of dentists, one who tried giving me sedatives which didn’t work for me at all as I am so nervous about the dentist. I have recently been having hypnotherapy for the dentist however I still get ever so anxious about the dentist and it makes me feel ill. I have always been told that I’ll need implants as I never had enough teeth. However I feel I require implants sooner than I’d like. I have a hole in one of my front teeth and this makes me so self conscious that I can’t smile. This is currently ruining my life as I have no self confidence because of this. I’d like to be able to smile and not worry about the way I look. How are the implants placed? Is this under anesthetic? Also roughly how much would it cost to replace the front big tooth? Thank you ever so much for your help.

Hello, i would like to ask about how i can get 2 root canals done on the NHS my previous dentist didnt do anything. He put a gold inlay in one of the teeth which i believe really needed a root canal and in the end i got an absess. I am a single mother of two children so where can i get these two teeth root canaled as i cannot afford the private fees and i would not be accepted for any loan, i am only 21 and the teeth are in my smile line so i wouldnt want to lose these teeth. Any advise much appreciated.
