Is it normal for my tooth to be so sensitive and painful after having a filling?

Friday, April 30th, 2010
Q.
Hi, I recently had a filling done, badly. It was very painful so it was re-done with a temporary filling that was then replaced with a permanent one last Tuesday. This filled tooth however is extremely sensitive and painful to any hot/cold drinks going near it. This was done 6 days ago, is this normal and will it settle down or is this not normal? Thank you,

Are there any alternatives to a partial denture?

Friday, April 30th, 2010
Q.
I have a crown which I have had for 25 years. It has fallen off and after a vist to a not very nice dentist I was told that I would have to have a partial denture fitted and be without a tooth for a week. Are there any alternatives to this Someone has mentioned that I could have an implant but they cost £2000 which I dont have. Is there any sort of plan that I could join to pay for this over a yearly basis,

Can you give me a guide to dental implants? Such as the price, starting & finishing of the treatment etc?

Friday, April 30th, 2010
Q.
Hi, I was recently assaulted and as a result, lost my 2 upper central incisors and my upper right lateral incisor. I want dental implants ASAP and have an consultation next week. However, I’m reluctant to have just the one consultation, but each clinic are wanting over £100 for the consultation. I am reluctant to spend more than I need to for the purpose of opinion, but want to ensure I get the best treatment at the right price. Could you tell me a guide price for this – and an approximate time scale between start and finish of the treatment? Many thanks in advance.,
