Cannot open my mouth or chew after 15 days since surgery
Q. Hi! I hope u help me out plz. I had a surgery two weeks bacj for four impacted wisdom teeth. I got them removed under general anesthesia. It has been 15 days, swelling has disappeared but I still cannot open my mouth or chew. It really hurts to open wide and my jaws are really stiff. Im afraid will I be able to chew normaly again? Plz asnwer asap. Im really worried! Thanks 🙁
A. It does take time time for your jaw to heal after this surgery. i t would be worth you returning to your dentist as you might have an infection.
