Can you tell me why my daughter’s milk tooth isn’t coming through yet?
Q.
My 7 year old daughter lost both her top front teeth in the same week about 4 months ago,one has grown in almost fully but there is no sign of the other one. This milk tooth was knocked backwards about 12 months prior to it falling out although I immediately put it back into position and it never discoloured I am worried it has caused a problem with her adult tooth. She is also missing a top canine which fell out around the same time. All her milk teeth grew in at the right times and her teeth started falling out at an appropriate age. Is it likely ti still appear

A.
Sometimes they take a while to come through especially as she’s quite young, visit a dentist if you’re worried although I wouldn’t be too concerned until shes 8-9 years old
