Can you drink fizzy pop if you wear braces?

Q.
Is it ok for my son to drink fizzy pop whilst wearing braces.
A.
We don’t advise fizzy drinks as they contain a high sugar quantity and more likley to cause tooth decay. He is ok to have sugar free drinks.
