Can my dental bridge me reduced in size?

Q. I have just had a bridge fitted to replace a missing front tooth. This was removed by my dentist and I was given a badly made, poorly fitting denture (without any real consultation). I couldn’t live with either the appearance of feel of this and the dentist then fitted a bridge. Unfortunately, the ‘teeth’ are too long and protrude. Can the bridge be reduced in size or is a new bridge required. I am at the end of my tether with my current dentist and would appreciate some advice I can trust.,
A. You can reduce the existing bridge within limits. After major adjustment the surface glaze will not be present and the result is best considered as an interim measure. StJohns Dental Practice offers a free initial consultation which will give enough additional information to make a more specific recommendation. Call Amy on 0121 643 0610 for details.
