Can I have teeth straightening treatment when i already have crowns?

Q. HI Dr Solanki I would really like to clean up the look of my mouth. I would love to have my teeth straightened and bleeched. The problem is I have three crowns (2 becuase my enamel didn’t grow on my teeth and one through falling over and cracking it). Is it possible? Also do you know how long the process would take to straighen the teeth? I assume this can be very expensive?

A. Thanks for your questions, firstly, it is possible to straighten teeth when you have had crowns. Secondly, there are many teeth straightening systems available to you, from systems which can acheive results in as little as six weeks, to systems which are virtually invisible. I would recommend that you consult with a private dental professional to discover which system would be most suitable for you. Many private practitioners who offer these services will also offer a free initial consultation, to enable you to gain the necessary information to make an informed choice without incurring any financial loss. I hope this will be of assistance to you.Kindest RegardsDr Kailesh Solanki
