Can I have my veneers removed and replaced with dental crowns?
Q. Hi please help i had 3 veneers fitted approx 15 years ago now they look old and and my gums have receeded a little so i really need them replacing but as veneers are so expensive is it possible to have my old veneers removed and replaced by crowns all your advice would be very much appreciated,
A. hi depending on where you go veneers and crowns can be done from the same price. but crowns are best avoided as they are more destructive and canlead to you needing root canal
Hey I got my veneers done 3 times and now I’m going to have the redone since my dentist was a jerk and filed alot of tooth out because he told me I had a lot of cavities .. He filed my K9 completely and root canaled it and told me i cant have a veneer on it .. my only solution was a crown .. it caused me alot of depression since my tooth is gone down to the gum line .. SO Now I want my veneers redone because I have a horse smile .. but i;m so scared they will turn to crowns .. really hate crowns but my doctor warned me that some might end up as crowns `! .. Should I get them redone or not 🙁 I don’t want crowns and hate my current veneers .. as for the crowned k9 .. it stinks .. I will get it replaced but is there a way I can restore my more than half gone tooth back 🙁
Please help my appointment is tomorrow and I have a lot of thinking to do!
