Can I have fang teeth filed rather than having a brace?

Q.
I have hated my teeth for years. my mouth is overcrowed pushing one of my front teeth over the other, i also have fangs either side that stick out from the others. my bottom four front teeth are all crooked and twisted and i also have 2 fangs at the bottom. i really dont want a brace, can the overlapping front tooth be filed down so it no longer covers a part of the other tooth?
A.
The best option IS braces but I can use invisalign to treat the issues that you describe. My patients find this procedure very acceptable and treatment time is usually no longer than a year. The other option would be veneers/ crowns but this is likely to damage the nerves of your teeth is they are very misaligned.
