Can I get decaying molars crowned?
Q. hi guys, i am terrified of the dentist! which is never a good thing, due to this every time i go to the dentist i get a tooth pulled!!!!!! i have two molars which have started to decay, and i have holes in them, but i cannot have them pulled out as it will be obvious! could i get them crowned? money isnt an object but i cannot loose these teeth! it is my fault but im so scared! thanks xx,
A. Yes it is normally possible to crown the teeth, perhaps with root canal as well. If they aren’t savable then you could consider implants to fill the gap. The treatment could be provided under sedation to help you with your anxietyRegards Andrew
