Can braces close teeth spaces at my age?

Q. i have gap and spaces between my teeth and i am over 25. can i still get braces and will this close my gaps? helppppppp. I plan on getting somerhing done bur iam not sure what will work for me because i have healthy teeth, but i donn’t smile at all.,

Im 17 going on 18 next january and i have this LARGE gap between my two front teeth, i’m very self conscience and will do anything to get them done immediately, i bearly smile and i tend avoid “f” words alot. The dentist has also told me that i need fillings in my teeth which i’m getting next week.
