Can anything be done about my tooth enamel that has worn away?

Q. Hi, I have never had any problems with my teeth until now, my teeth are starting to wear down and become sensitive, I’m guessing due to the enamal wearing away. Is there any dental treatment to repair, improve, or prevent any more damage or possibly cover-up the damage that I have done?,
A. Adhesive dentistry covers a lot ( literally) of what you might need. Gluing tooth coloured filling or veneers could be an answer. You must control the reason for the tooth wear, for example heavy grinding would need a different plan to acid erosion due to diet / fizzy drinks / bulaemia / reflux. The StJohns Dental practice (0121 643 0610)is a private practice in Birmingham City Centre , between New St and Snowhhill stations it is easily accessible if you would like a free initial assesment of the bst choice in your case. regards Rob
