A. Yes, it is possible for an infection to develope and is quite common on an unfinished root canal

I had a unfinised root canal on tooth number 13 and it was not sealed but filled. Also, the cotton pellet was found by another dentist and when he removed my filling the whole room smelled rotten along with the taste in my mouth. I started having severe jaw pain and headaches. My left eye also was losing vision and my eyelid has started drooping to the extent it is covering part of my pupil. Severe pain in eye. I would appreciate your advice in regards if the eye and tooth are related!
