Q. Hi, Basically i have had an abcess for several years, under a filling i had in one of my bottom teeth. I have had a fear of dentists ever since having a bad experience years back. This tooth have now decayed away and is left open. If i accidently touch it it causes unbearable amounts of pain. I think it has spread to the tooth behind it aswell, as this has started to become very painful. The tooth that has decayed away, now i can see a black patch that is very sensitive. Some weeks there is no pain, then suddenly if comes back with a vengeange! I have a dentist appointment next week to get checked over and get nessacery treatment. What am i going to expect as im quite worried! Thanks
